If someone says “you’re pretty for a black girl” do you take that offensively?

 YES!! because they make it seem like black girls are supposed to be ugly or something. The way people say it, they say it as if they’re surprised like “WOW, you’re pretty for a black girl”. Why can’t they say it “you’re pretty” ?
